Ashlyn started her career working in foreign policy with accomplished U.S. diplomats who taught her to see the spectrum of actors across public, private, and social sectors involved in the negotiation of global issues. Recognizing the influential role of business in achieving global environmental goals, Ashlyn brought her diplomacy skillset to sustainable business consulting.
At Stantec, Ashlyn is part of a new environmental, social, and governance (ESG) advisory group that supports clients as they align with ESG regulations, engage stakeholders, and develop long-term sustainability strategies. Ashlyn specializes in helping companies adopt the recommendations of the Task Force on Nature-Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and prepare for biodiversity reporting under the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. In her work with clients, she strives to build authentic relationships and boost internal knowledge and capacity to support cooperation across organizations and lasting changes.
Prior to Stantec, Ashlyn led policy at a climate risk technology company. She was a founding member of the sustainability practice at a global business advisory firm in Washington, DC founded by former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. Ashlyn earned an MBA from the Yale School of Management, where she specialized in corporate sustainability and green finance.
