Jenelle Sams

Jenelle has 15 years of sustainability experience and specializes in sustainable business strategy, programs and performance. She is the Sustainability Manager, US/CA for Imerys Performance Minerals America where she integrates sustainability into all aspects of the business including product development, manufacturing, transportation, and customer support.  Previously, she held roles at The Walt Disney Company, Kawneer, and various environmental consulting firms. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a master’s degree in Environmental Management and Planning from Johns Hopkins University.  Jenelle began her career working in animal conservation and is excited to see how biodiversity has become an important topic in recent years allowing her to merge her passion and experiences. Jenelle is also a WELL AP and LEED Green Associate certified sustainability professional.
