Paola Bernazzani

Paola is the Nature Lead for Stantec’s ESG Advisory Services. Paola is a biodiversity specialist with over 30 years of experience in environmental science, biodiversity, wildlife, impact assessment, and conservation planning. She has overseen numerous consulting projects focused on sustainability, environmental compliance and reporting, and programming. She has coordinated environmental research and reports both domestically and internationally and has worked extensively in the energy, forestry, and water sectors. Paola has been a reviewer for Conservation Biology and Environmental Management and is focused on solving real-world problems. Her projects involve field work, public outreach, training, climate change integration into planning, natural-resource valuation, biodiversity assessments, climate vulnerability analyses, and multi-criteria analysis. Paola has also served as a Practice Lead for Eastern US Conservation Planning and, subsequently, International Biodiversity and Natural Resources.
