Kevin Dillman, PhD

Meet Dr. Kevin Dillman, an innovator in sustainability who’s driving positive change at Makersite. With a rare blend of academic and professional experience, Dr. Dillman is on a mission to help organizations make smarter, data-driven decisions to minimize their environmental impact.  Before joining Makersite, Kevin led research as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Iceland, into “safe” and “just” transition systems such as energy, transportation, and food. His influential study, "A safe and just space for urban mobility: A framework for sector-based sustainable consumption corridor development” illustrate his expertise in reshaping systems for a greener future.

Dr. Dillman's academic work led to the publication of 17 academic articles with over 435 citations, aiding to push the boundaries of knowledge surrounding the sustainability of essential systems. Now, as Makersite's Sustainability Solution Engineer, he’s channeling this knowledge to bridge the gap between academia and industry.
