Deborah Briggs is the Vice President, EHS, Security and Facilities, for Polaris Industries. Polaris designs, engineers, manufactures and markets innovative, high quality off-road vehicles, including all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and the Polaris RANGER®
and RZR® side-by-side vehicles, snowmobiles, motorcycles and on-road electric/hybrid powered vehicles.
Deborah joined Polaris to lead the organizations EHS&S efforts in 2015. She is responsible for defining corporate policy and strategy
and leading EHS&S compliance for Polaris’ global operations.
Prior to joining the Polaris team, she spent 21 years working for Cargill. Throughout her career she has worked across many disciplines including Quality Assurance, Production
Supervision, Integration Management, Strategic Business Development, Facilities Management and EHS Leadership.
She received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University with a double major in Biology and Environmental Science and holds
a master’s degree in Business Administration from St Thomas University. Deborah also maintains her board certification in safety and certification in advanced project management.
Deborah currently serves on the Board of Directors of two
nonprofit low-income housing communities in North Minneapolis. In addition, she is the acting President of NAEM’s Mid-West Chapter and is an active member of the Conference Boards Chief EHS Officer Council and World 50’s Sustainability Council.
