Amanda Hiatt

Amanda Hiatt, Senior Manager of EHS Compliance Assurance and Audit Programs for GE Healthcare, has been part of the GE EHS community for 24 years. Having spent 10 of those years in facility EHS leader roles at various manufacturing sites, she has a deep appreciation for the broad range of topics that EHS professionals must master. Amanda has been involved in Compliance Assurance for the past 14 years, with experience in several GE businesses and as part of the Corporate EHS shared service. She played a key role in establishing the architecture for a corporate EHS governance audit team, and “ate her own cooking” by joining the team as a Regional Governance Leader for North America. Prior to joining GE, Amanda served in the U.S. Army after graduating from the United States Military Academy with a degree in Human Factors Psychology. She obtained a MS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. Amanda and her husband, Dan, live on a ‘hobby farm’ just off the Bourbon Trail in Springfield, KY, where her husband raises Longhorn cattle… and pigeons
