Michael Finnamore

Michael is currently the Vice President of Environmental, Health and Safety for PactivEvergreen. He has responsibility for the Global EHS program across 50+ manufacturing facilities, 2 papermills, and 25 warehouse facilities. Prior to joining PactivEvergreen, Michael led the Global EHS&S program for Hillrom Corporation and spent 20 years with Baxter Healthcare Corporation in various roles culminating as the Global Director of Industrial Hygiene.

Michael has 25 years of EHS experience including industrial hygiene, radiation safety, pharmaceutical safety, EHS management system implementation, auditing and safety culture change with positive value system creation. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Illinois and a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Utah. His professional credentials include a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM). Michael was professionally recognized in 2012 with the AIHA Kusnetz Award for Outstanding Achievement by an Early Career Professional, which honors an industrial hygienist under the age of 40, employed in the private sector, and who shows promise for leadership in the profession.
