Robert A. DeAngelis is an owner of Katahdin Industries, Inc. a diversified surface treatment and coating company to the medical products industry. Bob acquired Katahdin in March of 2006 with his partner Tim Cabot and has since grown the company to expand to multiple locations throughout New England and in Costa Rica. In addition to leading the company, Bob has been in the forefront of addressing EH&S issues facing the medical products industry, including successfully managing and navigating complex emerging issues arising from increased scrutiny on PFAS. Prior to acquiring Katahdin Bob spent sixteen years at Cabot Corporation, a global chemical company, holding various senior positions in the LNG, fumed silica and carbon black divisions. Prior to Cabot Corporation, Bob was a research economist with Data Resources Inc.
Bob is a graduate of Northeastern University and the Harvard Business School.
