Mike Schwartz

Mike has spent more than a dozen years guiding organizations through all levels of maturity along their Sustainability & ESG journeys. At Republic Services, the Fortune 500 environmental services, recycling, and waste company, he drives sustainability strategy, implementation, and reporting to investors, customers, raters & rankers, and the broader public. His prior experience includes sustainability focused startups, EcoVadis – the world’s leading supplier sustainability ratings agency, and related consulting. Mike holds a master of environmental science and management from the Bren School at UC Santa Barbara and a B.A. in economics from Columbia University.
