Ellen Huang

Ellen Huang is the Director of Environmental Affairs at Gates Corporation. In this role, she establishes and implements the environmental strategy for Gates to drive business value and reduce risk and liability for its global operations. In addition, she leads Gates' environmental sustainability and product stewardship programs.

Prior to joining Gates in 2011, she was the Director of Environmental Affairs and Product Stewardship at Pitney Bowes and the Asia Pacific Regional EHS Manager and Engineering Manager at Hamilton Sundstrand (now part of UTC Aerospace Systems). Her career and passion in the environmental field started with life cycle assessments and chemical process optimization at Exxon Chemical, Sony Corporation and United Technologies Research Center.

Ellen has an M.S. in Management of Technology and a B.E. in Chemical Engineering, both from Vanderbilt University.
