Doug Mazeffa is the Sustainability Director for Lincoln Electric and an expert in Life Cycle Assessment, product stewardship, and corporate sustainability. Doug has extensive expertise in the development and publication of Product Category Rules, Environmental Product Declarations, Sustainability Standards, and Corporate Sustainability/ESG disclosures. Doug’s sustainability work has been recognized through sales and performance awards, and an industry achievement Award from the American Coatings Association. He is also a highly sought-after speaker including lecturing at over a dozen Universities as well as presenting at numerous international conferences, webinars, radio shows, and television programs. Doug has been cited as a sustainability expert in dozens of major media outlets such as BBC, CNN, USA Today, and CNBC. Doug acquired his master’s degree in Corporate Environmental Management from the Donald Bren School of Environmental Science and Management and completed his undergraduate work at Miami University. Doug is also an adjunct professor in the MBA program at Baldwin-Wallace University. Doug has chaired or vice-chaired over a dozen committee across organizations such as the American Coating Association, US Green Building Council, Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, and for the development of several sustainability standards. A former All-American and national chess champion, Doug presently resides in Cleveland, Ohio.
