Erik Petrovskis

Erik Petrovskis is Director of Environmental Compliance and Sustainability at Meijer, a Great Lakes based retailer celebrating its 90th anniversary. Erik has 30 years of experience as an environmental professional. At Meijer, Erik is responsible for due diligence, remediation, compliance, and environmental sustainability, focused on carbon reduction, food waste reduction, circular economy, and Great Lakes stewardship. Erik serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Michigan School for Environment & Sustainability. He is also a member of the Erb Michigan Business Sustainability Roundtable. He holds a PhD in environmental engineering from The University of Michigan and is a licensed Professional Engineer. Erik is a frequently invited speaker on corporate environmental management.
