Heather Daniels is the Vice President of Environment, Safety, Health and Sustainability for Lockheed Martin Corporation. She leads the organization responsible for setting policy and developing programs that support the corporation’s commitments to provide a safe and healthful working environment, to operate in a manner that conserves natural resources, and to provide for the long-term stewardship of our environmental, social and financial capital. The integrated organization includes Environment, Safety and Health (ESH), medical services, and sustainability. Heather provides leadership of the governance structures, common processes and tools used to execute sustainability and ESH programs, monitor relevant emerging regulatory and legislative issues, develop initiatives to improve corporate-wide sustainability and ESH performance, and communicate our commitments and performance to internal and external stakeholders.
Heather has over 25 years of experience in developing facility and enterprise risk management and compliance programs, certifications to voluntary international management systems standards, and implementing operating excellence performance improvements.
Heather currently serves as an officer on the Board of Directors for the International Aerospace Environmental Group and represents Lockheed Martin on a number of additional external organizations.
Heather holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame with a double major in Physics and English.
