Michelle C. Lan, CIH, CSP

Michelle C. Lan is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. She holds a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene from Harvard School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.

Currently, Michelle is the Director of EHS Centers of Excellence at Applied Materials Inc., where she leads a team of subject matter experts in environmental, health, and safety. Her responsibilities include managing Corporate Audit, EHS Standards/Policies, EHS training, Industrial Hygiene, and EHS communications and data systems.

Michelle's career at Applied Materials Inc. has seen her in various key roles, including Director of Corporate EHS, Senior EHS Manager, and Global EHS Program Manager. She has consistently demonstrated her expertise in developing and implementing EHS compliance programs, managing site-specific industrial hygiene programs, and providing support to global EHS teams across North America, Asia, and Europe.
