Dear NAEM Members,

There is little doubt that 2025 will be another year of change for our profession. I know that as a successful EHS and Sustainability professional, you too will change, adapt, and learn. NAEM is a strong community of professionals dedicated to advancing and empowering each other with the knowledge and wisdom to stay prepared, resilient, and agile.

Based on our Member Appreciation Week survey results, the top priority for many of you is CSRD preparation. Also top-of-mind are EHS compliance, advancing safety programs, and staying abreast of regulatory trends.

As you navigate the year ahead, I encourage you to tap into the NAEM community to support you and your team. In the words of NAEM Board Chair Nicole Wilkinson, “The information and the resources we (NAEM members) provide to each other helps us go beyond just managing through change to actually being change agents within our profession.”

We are here to listen and respond to your needs. We welcome your ideas and suggestions so that we can support the important work you do each day. Together we will tackle the challenges that lie ahead and continue to advance our roles and our profession through education, benchmarking, research, and peer-to-peer sharing.
