Businesses Need to Begin Preparing for Sea Level Rise

For the past 6,000 years - the duration of human civilization - sea level has remained relatively unchanged. That is no longer the case today. Sea level rise is now moving the shoreline inland, posing new challenges for businesses and communities. At NAEM's Forum on Oct. 23, 2013 in Montreal, John Englander, author of "High Tide on Main Street," illuminated the business risks and made the case for 'intelligent adaptation' to more than 500 corporate EHS and sustainability leaders. In this video interview, he discusses the science and shares some of the highlights from his keynote presentation.
