Amy Perlmutter is an independent consultant whose practice includes strategy, stakeholder engagement, communications, and facilitation to build the green economy. Amy is part of the Green Chemistry and Commerce Council (GC3) Team, where she manages a variety of projects, including the Mainstreaming Green Chemistry Initiative, and assists with organizing of the annual GC3 Innovators Roundtable. Prior to consulting, Amy was the founding director of the Chelsea Center for Recycling and Economic Development, working with businesses, researchers, and government to increase the use of recyclable materials in manufacturing processes in Massachusetts. She also served as the Director of Recycling for the City of San Francisco, and the Director of Solid Waste for Passaic County, New Jersey.
