Betty Cremmins

Betty Cremmins is director of CDP west at the Carbon Disclosure Project and has an extensive background in green building and environmental policy. She has experienced firsthand the extent of environmental degradation and climate change in the United States and around the world, assisting scientists studying glaciers melting in Antarctica, rebuilding homes destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, and teaching rural women basic sewing and hygiene skills in sub-Saharan Africa. She has pedaled her bicycle across America to benefit affordable housing, and led the construction of 17 units of energy-efficient affordable housing with Habitat for Humanity New York City.
She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from New York University, a Masters in Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
