Brigette’s extensive experience in environment, health & safety (EHS) spans four different industries. She brings an important and varied perspective to her current role with Sodexo as its vice president of EHS, which also includes food safety. Her innovative approach to building a zero-harm safety culture, reducing risks, and driving business results makes her a trusted resource in the field.
Brigette was previously the Director of Safety & Environmental Sustainability Governance at The Coca-Cola Co., responsible for all governance activities related to the safety and environmental sustainability of more than 800 manufacturing sites and several thousand distribution sites and worldwide fleet operations. Ms. Philpot played a crucial role in preparing the company for the emerging trends in reporting by proactively enhancing tools, processes and resources for integrated reporting of financial and non-financial data.
Before joining Coca-Cola in 2006, she gained experience overseeing environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives for companies in the food and beverage, aerospace, power generation industries.
She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University, an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Howard University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
