Carolyn has over eight years of experience supporting companies through sustainability strategy development and goal setting, materiality assessments, benchmarking, climate and water risk screenings, and corporate reporting and disclosure.
- She joined the Ernst & Young LLP Climate Change and Sustainability Services practice in August 2021 serving large multinational organizations based in the United States and works with public and privately held clients across various sectors including advanced manufacturing, consumer products, oil and gas, and technology
- Carolyn is skilled in designing and executing materiality assessments and is knowledgeable in mainstream ESG frameworks and guidance, including GRI Standards, SASB Standards, TCFD Recommendations, and the UN SDGs, as well as investor and customer-driven questionnaires (e.g., MSCI, EcoVadis, CDP)
- Carolyn currently participates in the Bay Area Council Water and Climate Resilience Committee as well as the Silicon Valley Leadership Group Environment Committee
- Prior to joining EY, Carolyn worked at an environmental engineering firm managing a global network of consultants on projects across various services, including global EHS&S (environment, health, safety and sustainability) regulatory compliance, environmental liability transactions, and, most prominently, ESG strategy and reporting
