Christy Clark is a director of environmental engineering for DTE Energy, a Detroit-based diversified energy company involved in the development and management of energy-related businesses and services nationwide. Christy oversees staff that support the
company’s renewable, electric, gas and nuclear business units. This support includes keeping the company in compliance with federal, state and local regulations for all media (land, water, air, waste, etc.). She also leads the company’s
environmental justice program and the Detroit Tree Equity Partnership (DTEP).
Christy joined DTE Energy in 2011 and has over 25 years of environmental and leadership experience in public and private sectors. She started her career in a laboratory before moving over to the private sector and working as a consultant. She then moved to a government position with the Department of Environmental Quality. After working for the State of Michigan for 10 years she decided to leave government work and moved to DTE.
