Dylan Siegler is Senior Sustainability Advisor at NRG, where she provides the company and its customers with an expert voice for sustainability. As a principal in NRG’s consulting practice, she offers strategic resilience and sustainable energy advisory services to municipalities and companies. As NRG’s sustainable operations lead, she heads up high-impact, integrated sustainability programs inside NRG that support the achievement of the company’s strategic carbon, energy, waste, and water goals. NRG has achieved a 37% CO2 emissions reduction and a water withdrawal reduction of 40% since 2014.
Previously, as Sustainability Manager in the City of Austin Office of Sustainability, she led high-profile projects at intersection of strategic planning and urban development, overseeing cross-departmental teams incorporating sustainability and resilience in capital planning, energy, water, green infrastructure, and food, and developing the City’s first sustainability KPI reporting tool.
She holds an M.S. in Sustainable Design from the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture and a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College. Siegler is a LEED accredited professional and a board officer with nonprofits STAR Communities and the Austin Community Design and Development Center.
