Ed Mabe is the Senior Director of Health and Safety for CHEP, a multinational supply chain logistics company, part of the Australian-based Brambles Group of Companies operating in 60 countries around the world.
He is responsible for establishing the direction for the company's health and safety programs and leading the implementation of the supporting initiatives through a globally-dispersed team of health and safety professionals.
At the core of Brambles commitment to safety is ZeroHarm, an aspirational future state targeting not only Zero injuries, but also Zero negative impact to the environment and Zero human rights violations.
Prior to taking on his current role in April of this year, Ed spent 10 years with CHEP in operations and quality and was most recently the global head of engineering.
In addition to his time with CHEP, Ed has 20 years of experience in Engineering, Information Services, and Research and Development for companies including Kellogg's, Pizza Hut, Ralcorp, ConAgra Foods, and Quaker Oats and began his career as a combat engineering officer with the 3rd Infantry Division in the Federal Republic of Germany.
Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University.
