Erin Donovan
Senior Manager, Health, Safety, Sustainability & Environment
ATCO
Erin Donovan is the Senior Manager of Health, Safety, Sustainability & Environment for ATCO Electric.
She completed her undergrad degree from the University of Alberta in Reclamation and Remediation and worked in that field for a grand total of 2 years before moving on to various other environmental scopes. Erin is also a Professional Agrologist.
Erin started working on Sustainability nearly 10 years ago, when companies assumed it was solely an environmental function. She is excited and engaged to work with industries and the public to explain how the two can work together and development and environmental stewardship can happen in the same space.
Ms. Donovan most recently moderated a panel on Bridging the Gap between Sustainability Report and Financial Reporting at the Western Energy Institute’s Customer and Corporate Symposium and spoke on Regulatory Modernization and Upcoming ESG Disclosure Requirements at the Environmental Services Association of Alberta Summit.
When not trying to explain how EHS is exciting, Erin can be found at any of the recreation centres around Edmonton with her son or at the lake.
