Geoff Boraston is the Director of Environmental Affairs for Granite Construction Inc. He has been with the company since 1995 and is responsible for leading the company wide environmental program and championing the company sustainability efforts. Geoff started with the company in the Environmental Remediation Branch working on site cleanup and environmental construction projects. His position evolved into an environmental management role for the Branch Division and eventually Corporate.

In his current role, Geoff leads the company wide environmental management team and maintains the systems, practices and resources necessary to meet the company's environmental objectives including compliance with regulatory requirements. As part of this role, Geoff guides the company environmental strategy to support long-term business success.

Geoff has over 30 years of experience and is a registered chemical engineer in the state of California. He earned his chemical engineering degree in 1985 and a MBA in 1999.

Geoff is the former Environmental Committee Chairman for the Construction Materials Association of California and the former Chairman for the NSSGA Environmental Health & Safety Division.  He currently represents the company on the Sustainable Infrastructure Advisory Board through the Zofnass program for Sustainable Infrastructure at Harvard University.
