James Bilgo is the Manager of EHS Program Management at Kohler Co., where he supervises a team of EHS professionals who have responsibility for development and implementation of Kohler Safety and Environmental Management Systems and for assuring EHS compliance at over 60 manufacturing operations on six continents.His other responsibilities include: EHS project management and program development, and global alignment of best practices for due diligence, sustainability and environmental footprint reduction, EHS inspections and audits. He has successfully permitted greenfield operations in India, China, Canada, Mexico, Europe and the U.S.Mr. Bilgo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Water Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin at Steven Point. He is a past president of the Wisconsin CHMM chapter and the Federation of Environmental Technologist. Jim has also published several papers on different environmental topics.
