James P. Caulfield is the Environmental Health and Safety Manager for the Integrated Defense Systems in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. In this role, which he assumed in May 2013, he is responsible for the overall environmental health and safety program for the facilities organization in the Northeast.
Before his current position, Caulfield served as the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager at the Integrated Air Defense Center (IADC) in Andover, Massachusetts.
Caulfield joined Raytheon in 1990 as a Health and Safety Specialist working at the Equipment Development Laboratory in Sudbury, Massachusetts. In this position he was responsible for health and safety compliance in Wayland, Sudbury, and Marlborough and Northborough facilities. Since then he has had positions with increased responsibility in the Environmental, Health and Safety field.
Before returning to Raytheon, Caulfield held the position of Corporate Environmental, Health and Safety Manager at American Superconductor, headquartered in Westborough, Massachusetts. Caulfield served in this position from 2001 – 2005. In this position he was responsible for Environmental, Health and Safety for four sites two of them in Wisconsin.
Lastly, Caulfield was born November 16, 1962 in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned a bachelor of science degree in Safety Studies from Keene State College, Keene New Hampshire. He holds a Class II Wastewater treatment license from the Department of Environmental Protection; He successfully completed Raytheon's Frontline Leadership and Management Development Course. He has been a Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist since 2001.
