James D. Basore

James Basore is the Training Manager for the Environment Health and Safety Division at the Department of Energy's Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He is also a member of the University of California's System-wide Training and Education Working Group, and the Department of Energy's Cross-complex Learning and Training Team. Both are focused on improving the efficiency and efficacy of ES&H training within their respective ecosystems.Before joining Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Mr. Basore helped shape the successful development of EH&S online training programs at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Golden Gate University. In each position, he brought focus to measuring the effectiveness of training within the organization and helping to systematize the delivery of training throughout the organizations.He holds an MBA degree from Golden Gate University and a Masters Degree in Education from San Francisco State University.
