Data Visualization Lead
United Airlines
Jared is the lead data visualization designer for United Airlines' Corporate Safety group under John “J.J” DeGiovanni. Working with a high powered internship program from the University of New Haven, Jared spearheads efforts to integrate data
across divisions and agencies to provide intuitive insights that translate from business unit officers to the front-line. The partnership between United Airlines and the University of New Haven was recently recognized with the Green Cross award for the
data visualization program and continues to improve the airline by blending aspects of safety with cost and process efficiency objectives.
Prior to his role in Corporate Safety, Jared worked in United Airlines' Technical Operations Materials Planning group, where he managed the provisioning for $750M of aircraft spares for new fleet inductions and schedule redeployments, as well as the master data management of all inventory spares during the key merging of United Airlines' maintenance systems. Before United, Jared worked in logistics management and execution in retail and oil and gas sectors.
Jared received both his B.S. in Business Management and M.B.A. in Supply Chain from the University of Pittsburgh.
