Jayne has worked in the Environmental Insurance field for more than 25 years, for several major leading environmental carriers, including AIG, Zurich and XL. In 2010 she joined the Specialty Insurer, Beazley Group, to develop an Environmental platform.
She currently leads a global team of Environmental Underwriters who specialize in transactional, Brownfield business and tough, customized Pollution Legal Liability risks.
For most of her career she has negotiated with insurance brokers, environmental attorneys, insureds and risk managers of Fortune 1,000 companies for the placement of environmental insurance products and programs to mitigate complex environmental exposures including the development of unique solutions to managing the risks associated with asset purchase and indemnity agreements with property transactions.
The Beazley Environmental team has offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, Toronto and London.
Beazley Furlonge Ltd, the Lloyd's managing agency, was established in 1986 to underwrite specialist insurance products through Syndicate 623. After listing on the London Stock Exchange in 2002 and raising £150m, Beazley established Syndicate 2623 to underwrite in parallel with 623.
Through the Lloyd's syndicates and service companies, Beazley is licensed to trade surplus lines insurance and reinsurance in the US and in over 65 territories worldwide, and have operations in US, Canada, Latin America, Asia Middle East and Australia. Beazley manages six Lloyd's syndicates and, in 2016, underwrote gross premiums worldwide of $2.2 billion.
All Lloyd's Syndicates are rated A (Excellent) by A.M. Best and also benefit from the Lloyd's chain of security.
