As Denver's Chief Sustainability Officer since 2012, Jerry Tinianow works to ensure that critical natural and human resources are available and affordable to everyone in Denver, now and tomorrow. His work is organized around the City's 2020 Sustainability Goals, which are among the most ambitious of any American city.
Jerry previously served as a national officer of both the Sierra Club and the National Audubon Society, and also practiced law for over two decades with two of Ohio's largest law firms. The Sierra Club designated him as a national “Environmental Hero” during its centennial celebration. Jerry received his undergraduate and law degrees from George Washington University.
