Jessica Smith is the manager of corporate sustainability for Lockheed Martin, a global security and aerospace company that employs about 113,000 people worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services.
Jessica is supporting the launch of a company-wide sustainability strategy that fosters innovation, integrity and security to protect the environment, strengthen communities and propel responsible growth.
She manages the annual Sustainability Report (lockheedmartin.com/sustainability) process and publication. She supported the company’s first sustainability materiality assessment and first report following GRI G4 guidance. She joined the company in 2011 as a manager of corporate philanthropy. She was responsible for managing philanthropic activities in alignment with business priorities, overseeing the Lockheed Martin Corporation Foundation and developing strategic grant partnerships that support veterans and military families.
