Jim Dray
Environment Chief Technology Officer
AECOM
Jim Dray is responsible for strategic use of technology in AECOM's Environment Business Line. This includes support for innovations, identifying and communicating best technical practices, sharing knowledge across the enterprise, working with specific client teams using leading edge approaches, and acting as a champion for all types of technical excellence that make a difference to the quality of AECOM's services.
Previously, Mr. Dray was based in London as the director of AECOM's work for the Oil & Gas Sector in Europe and Central Asia. His work has included setup and management of large programs in challenging locations such as Kazakhstan and Iraq. The technical content of these programs has included, among others, environmental baselines, health and safety training and management, permitting, impact analysis, waste management, and knowledge transfer to local staff.
Mr. Dray has been a leader in AECOM's external practices in management consulting and information systems, and continues to advise clients and AECOM on how to use information technology to achieve fundamentally more effective businesses and projects. He has worked with many leading companies to improve business processes in areas that include knowledge and document management, project management, management systems, and financial management.
Mr. Dray holds an MBA from Harvard University, and a BA in Cognitive Psychology from Wesleyan University.
