Joanne Jones
Sustainability Leader
Heritage Environmental Services
Joanne Jones currently serves as Sustainability Leader for Heritage Environmental Services and is responsible for internal sustainability programs including tracking and reporting, as well as community and employee engagement efforts by mentoring local
employee green teams. Joanne has additionally been involved in the Heritage Innovation Team (HIT employee program) for over 10 years. Her 35+ year career with Heritage started at Heritage Research Group and also included 10 years at Heritage Interactive
Services working with customers on their sustainability programs (including zero waste to landfill initiatives) and 5 years as the Director of Marketing for HES.
Spending time with family is Joanne’s favorite activity – primarily with her son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandkids, but also with extended family. She also loves travel, especially taking the kids in her life to experience new sites and environmental adventures. As each niece or nephew turns 14, they get to plan a special vacation with Aunt Joanne. This year, her great niece got the stamp she wanted in her passport and participated in a beach clean up for Earth Day.
