Juan-Carlos (JC) Tabora joined the Ryder Corporate team as an Environmental Manager in 2011. In this role, he is responsible for developing and managing systems and tools throughout the organization in support of Ryder environmental and sustainability strategic goals. His responsibilities range from providing environmental support (audits, training, waste reduction) for more than 700 facilities, to identifying incentives for alternative fuel vehicles (AFV) and infrastructure – over $24M secured.
Mr. Tabora has more than 17 years of experience leading Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) & Sustainability programs benchmarking, reporting and continuous improvement.
Prior to joining Ryder, he led the development of EHS & Sustainability programs at U-Haul International and served 11 years in active duty with the United States Army as an aircraft technician, pilot and managing EHS programs.
Mr. Tabora is a graduate of Arizona State University and holds degrees in Environmental Industrial Technologies and a master’s in Business Administration (MBA).
