Kenneth Carino, Associate Director of Environmental Health and Safety for United Technologies Aerospace System Central Operations & Supply Chain, responsible for - Supporting Central Operations & Supply Chain leadership in the implementation of effective EH&S programs to minimize occupational injuries, eliminate violations of safety and environmental regulations, and reduce costs associated with these incidents, Working closely with Operations & Supply Chain Leadership to incorporate business unit considerations in the development of strategies that align with UTAS goals and objectives relating to safety, health and environmental protection, Providing support to site leadership and other line managers responsible for safety, health and environmental protection at the local level and managing communication between Central sites to ensure consistent program implementation and sharing of learnings and effective practices.
Most recently, Kenneth led all Puerto Rico Operations shared service departments supporting Facilities, Technical Services, Environmental, Health, Safety and Government affairs. Kenneth brings greater than thirty years of experience, holding positions of increasing responsibility and leadership on areas such as operations, project management, compliance, and maintenance.
Kenneth is a huge endurance sports fan and coach. A former Ironman Triathlete, Kenneth still enjoys biking, running and swimming, and he is currently training for the New York City Marathon. Kenneth holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.
