Kerie Bowen is a Process Engineer with Ramboll specializing in Process Safety. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama. During her 15-year career, she has occupied positions in the nuclear and specialty chemical industries. These include systems engineer, field engineer, project engineer and process safety engineer. Through these roles, she has developed a passion for safety and believes common-sense approaches are the most successful for implementing and sustaining safety principles. She is a member of the Center for Chemical Process Safety through the American Institute for Chemical Engineers and presented the paper “Effective PSM on Small Capital Projects” at the 2019 Global Congress for Process Safety.
