As the HSSE Supervisor, Innovation and Engagement at ATCO, Lance is responsible for conducting market research and analysis to identify new technologies, trends, and transformations in the energy industry. He uses innovation platforms, subscriptions, and relationships to evaluate innovative ideas, companies, and emerging technologies. With a background in Electrical Engineering (technology) and specialization in HVDC utility substations and converter stations, Lance brings valuable expertise to his role that is relatable to most utility employees. He introduces new products and service offerings to the Electric teams for trial and implementation as well as engages with potential strategic partners to support the expansion of the company's OHS development offerings. In his time away from work, Lance can typically be found spending time with his wife and two kids and/or wherever the nearest baseball diamond or sporting event is taking place."
