Lindsey Schwartz brings over two decades of experience to her current role as Yahoo’s Environmental Health & Safety Manager. In her current role, she works to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits for offices and data centers throughout North America and Canada and supports the ergonomics program at Yahoo. She also oversees Yahoo’s carbon footprint program and facilitates the coordination of Yahoo’s ESG & Sustainability efforts across a multi-disciplinary group throughout the company.
Prior to joining Yahoo in October 2021, Lindsey spent 10 years as an independent EH&S consultant to AOL, Oath, and Verizon. While working for Verizon, she oversaw the injury and illness and motor vehicle accident reporting program, focusing on OSHA-related policies and procedures. Preceding her independent contracting work, Lindsey worked for WSP USA as a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA). She holds a B.S. in Environmental Resource Management from the Pennsylvania State University.
