Michelle Dolfi is an Environmental Manager at NRG Energy, Inc. (NRG), a Fortune 200 Company and the leading integrated power company in the U.S., built on the strength of the nation's largest and most diverse competitive electric generation portfolio. Michelle has over 30 years of diversified electricity generation industry experience, during which her responsibilities have included multi-media permitting, project management, risk management, audit program management, site inspections and supporting internal initiatives.
Michelle’s core responsibilities include: managing the NRG environmental compliance program; supporting the use of environmental risk assessments; analyzing incident data for trends and developing improvement programs; and managing the TRI reporting program for the fleet. Prior to joining NRG, she worked eleven years at a coal fired power plant in Ohio as a plant engineer.
Michelle graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a B.S in Mechanical Engineering and earned an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business. She currently lives in northern Alabama.
