Nancy Meyer is the Director of Corporate Engagement at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES). She leads their Business Environmental Leadership Council, which is a select, invitation-only group of major companies committed to climate and energy leadership that promotes practical and effective solutions to climate change challenges. Prior to joining C2ES, Ms. Meyer was a director at IHS Markit, where she conducted research on environmental issues affecting the energy sector and led their Climate and Carbon Service in North America.
Ms. Meyer is a seasoned stakeholder engagement professional and has led business engagement activities with leaders across industry, government and civil society to discuss research, trends, policy and best practices on energy and environmental issues. She is also a published author and has written multidisciplinary, data-driven reports on energy and climate change topics such as methane emissions, natural gas flaring, and corporate climate strategy, as well as cutting-edge research on climate-related financial risk and the energy sector. Her prior professional background also includes working as a federal program analyst at the Government Accountability Office and several years of community economic development work, including service in the Peace Corps.
Ms. Meyer graduated summa cum laude from the University of Indianapolis with a B.A. in international business. She also holds an M.P.A. from Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
