Nick Kell

As Emergency Management Coordinator, Nick is responsible for implementing and maintaining an enterprise-wide emergency preparedness and response program to strengthen organizational readiness and resiliency. With over 10 years of emergency management
experience within both the public and private sector, Nick has used his knowledge to lead and synchronize preparedness efforts across various industries and communities.
Nick started his career in a Level 1 trauma center providing patient care as an Emergency Medical Technician. He eventually transitioned into an emergency management role within the University of Virginia Medical Center. He then served as a planner with the Public Health Department in Boulder County, Colorado, and became a subject matter expert in planning for medical countermeasures, infectious disease, and environmental emergencies. During this time, he also served as coordinator for the Medical Reserve Corps of Boulder County, a local volunteer emergency response organization. Nick has been deployed to numerous disasters and filled various roles within incident command and community emergency operation centers.
Nick received a B.S. in Health Sciences from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Nick has a passion for the studying leadership and has continued leadership studies throughout his career. Nick is also a graduate of Boulder County's Leadership Academy.
