Patricia Meehan

Patricia A. Meehan is vice president, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) at the New York Power Authority (NYPA), where she has spent more than 30 years in public service.
Meehan is responsible for the safety of NYPA and New York State Canal Corporation (NYSCC) employees and the stewardship of the environment in and around NYPA and the NYSCC assets and properties. She leads NYPA in the pursuit of EHS excellence and accomplishing the goals detailed in NYPA’s VISION2030 strategic plan.
Meehan holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Cornell University, a Master of Engineering in environmental engineering from Manhattan College, and an MBA in management from Iona College.
