Ravender Pal Singh is a technology leader with over 18 years of experience in product development, innovation, data analytics, and business management across E-commerce, Banking and Pharmaceutical sectors. Currently, he leads a global product, data, applied science, and technology team in the Workplace Health and Safety Org that is transforming workplace safety for over one million employees worldwide. His team develops cutting-edge technology solutions that combine sensor-based Internet of Things, AWS-native web solutions, and advanced Artificial Intelligence technologies such as Generative AI and Computer Vision to proactively identify and mitigate safety risks before they lead to incidents. His team's innovative solutions have earned multiple internal and external accolades, including an Innovation Award from the National Safety Council.
During his nearly 10-year tenure at Amazon, he has led critical functions across Last Mile Delivery Pickup, Grocery, and Personalization organizations. Prior to his current safety-focused role, he built and managed business-critical, real-time systems powering product recommendations and advertisements for Amazon's global customer base. He also played a pivotal role in leading the Amazon Grocery team's Covid response program. Before Amazon, he spent close to seven years working with Barclays and a global pharmaceutical client on technology infrastructure and application development projects. Ravender holds a Bachelor of Engineering from University of Mumbai and an MBA from University of Michigan.
