Richard Crowther manages Sustainability related activities for Coca-Cola Refreshments across North America. He has responsibility for improving the energy efficiency, water efficiency, in-plant recycling rates and net carbon/water impact of production and warehouse facilities, as well as the transportation fleet and vending/cooler equipment. He has nearly two decades of diverse experience in the energy efficiency and sustainability field, and is familiar with all aspects of the industry from supply planning and demand reduction to carbon accounting and clean-tech project developed such as use of bio-fuels, cogeneration, solar power and fuel cells.
Prior to joining The Coca-Cola Co. in 2006, he gained experience working for York International, The Southern Co. and Atlanta Gas Light Co.
Mr. Crowther holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Georgia State University.
