Shanel Aliano
Technical Assistant to the VP of Corporate EHS

Shanel is the Technical Assistant to the VP of Corporate EHS. She was previously the Environmental, Safety & Health Engineer (Senior) within the Corporate Energy, Environment, Safety and Health (CEESH) organization at Lockheed Martin. In this role Shanel was responsible for the various enterprise-wide compliance assurance and advocacy programs. Shanel has been with Lockheed Martin for more than 10 years and has both site and corporate experience.
Shanel started her Lockheed Martin career within the Mission Systems and Sensors business area where she was responsible for developing and supporting various safety and health programs including industrial hygiene responsibilities. Within the various Environmental, Safety & Health roles, both in the business area and at the corporate level, Shanel's past experience includes: ESH Management System development across multiple locations and lines of business in achievement of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and OSHA VPP, OSHA recordkeeping SME, confined space, incident management, PPE and respiratory protection, PIT management, IAQ and ergonomics.
Shanel holds a B.S. in Occupational Safety & Health with a concentration in Industrial Hygiene from Keene State College.
