Sherri Mae is a mission-driven environmental sustainability leader. Her expertise includes strategic planning, food waste elimination and diversion, community facing programs, and employee engagement initiatives. Her key professional achievements include pioneering the first global Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWTL) program for Danone, a multinational food and beverage manufacturer. While at Danone, she was a Program Mentor for the Employee Resource Group called LIFT or Leading & Inspiring Female Talent. Sherri is currently an adjunct professor for the University of Denver's Master of Science Environmental Sustainability Policy & Management Program. In 2023, she was nominated by her students for a Career Faculty Champion Award for going above and beyond mentoring students in career and professional development growth. She currently lives in upstate New York where she actively participates in her community. She most recently began volunteering for The MoonCatcher Project managing a Period Pantry and mentoring the Assistant Executive Director in organizational growth and career development.
