Tim Mohin previously served as the chief executive of the Global Reporting Initiative; he also held sustainability leadership roles with Intel, Apple, and AMD and worked on environmental policy within the U.S. Senate and Environmental Protection Agency.
He is the author of Changing Business from the Inside Out: A Treehugger’s Guide to Working in Corporations.
Tim selectively accepts speaking engagements and provides advisory services on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) disclosure, Corporate Responsibility Management, Government Policy and related matters through his company, ESG Advisor LLC.
He is a globally recognized thought leader in ESG disclosure, author of Changing Business from the Inside Out, and a founder and former Chairman of the Responsible Business Alliance (formerly the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition).
Tim has worked within the sustainability and ESG fields on all sides: leading the creation of national environmental policy for both the EPA and US Senate, establishing and implementing leadership sustainability programs for multinational brands, founding and leading a coalition focused on advancing responsible sourcing, and as the chief executive GRI - the world’s leading sustainability disclosure standards organization.
Currently, he is living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he bikes with the Eat ‘n Park N+1 cycling team and spends time with his grandsons.
