As Abbott’s Director of Supply Chain Sustainability, Julie leads the integration of Abbott’s Supply Chain Sustainability program and collaborates across the organization to embed sustainability into the business, procurement, and suppliers.
Prior to Abbott, Julie held roles as Head of ESG and EHS at Hollister Incorporated and as Senior Director of Procurement Risk, Sustainability, Performance, and Innovation at Takeda Pharmaceuticals. Prior to Takeda, Julie was a member of Baxter International’s Global EHS leadership team, as well as Director of Supply Chain Sustainability and Director of Ethics & Compliance.
Julie is a past board member of the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Initiative (PSCI) which is an industry collaboration to drive improved supplier environmental, ethical, and human rights outcomes. Additionally, she has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, Nicholas School of the Environment.
