Creating a Sustainable Future Using Generative AI
Webinar
Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the way we live, work, and interact with the world. We are standing today at the forefront of this transformative wave, having recently reached a tipping point in the evolution of AI.
This tipping point has been brought by the convergence of significant computational power, accessibility to vast data sets, notable progress in natural language processing, and generative AI. During this webinar, we will showcase our work in the area of AI using a practical application in water utilities.
Utilities encounter daily challenges related to maintaining their infrastructure while delivering high-quality services and thus each decision made within the utility carries financial implications. The City of Ft. Myers, Florida, has been issued a consent order to enhance the performance of its sewer/water system due to factors such as aging infrastructure, population growth, and climate change impacts, all to be addressed with limited resources.
In order to determine the optimal allocation of resources towards maintenance, operations, and capital projects, a cloud-based, decision-support system (DSS) has been developed. This DSS integrates principles of asset management, capital planning, and generative AI to facilitate informed, data-driven decision-making. This approach has contributed to increased resiliency and sustainability, while minimizing lifecycle costs within acceptable risk thresholds.
Join this webinar to delve into how generative AI and this innovative application framework can be extended to various sectors including energy, transportation, agriculture, manufacturing, and urban planning. Discover how these technologies can play a pivotal role in shaping a more sustainable future.
